This book contains papers presented at the 2nd Benelux-Scandinavian Symposium in Legal Theory, held in Uppsala, Sweden, December 11-13, 1986, under the theme The Structure of Law. 

The volume is divided into four parts: 
• The Structure of Law from a Logical Point of View. Contributions by A. Soeteman and R. Hilpinen 
• The Structure of Law from a Legislative Point of View. Contributions by W. Van Der Velden, J. Hellner and J. Desmet 
• The Structure of Law from the Point of View of Adjudication. Contributions by P.J. Van Den Hoven, J. Bjarup och F. Ost and M. van de Kerchove 
• The Structure of Law from other Points of View. Contributions by H. and M. Häyry, and H.T. Klami. 

These four parts are preceded by the opening lecture at the symposium delivered by S. Strömholm.

Åke Frändberg är professor i allmän rättslära, Juridiska instititutionen, Uppsala universitet
